EDIFIER WIRELESS SPEAKERS

Aesthetically they are quite pleasant & have Bluetooth & USB connectivity. I was disappointed that the 2 nd speaker uses a wired connection to the main speaker, as this will make room placement difficult, ie rather short.
The sound quality is fairly average & again, I felt rather disappointed, though if I can connect to an existing sub woofer that may help. That’s the drawback of not being able to hear them before buying.
Set up was quite straightforward though it took a while to make the Bluetooth connection with my phone. I bought them to use with a new turntable but havnt had time to test yet. Overall quite good but sound quality not quite as good as I hoped.

Great speakers for their intended purpose

The R1280DBs speakers cannot be expected to deliver on the same level as audiophile speakers costing fifty times more, driven by a 400 watt amplifier. Nevertheless, they performs magnificently within their own parameters, in the setting they are intended for. I listen to music streamed on my Apple TV 4K, while exercising on my indoor bike, and I am totally satisfied with what I hear. I found the line in connection better than the bluetooth connection, and do not activate the 'wide' setting. The audio output on the Apple TV is set to stereo and not 5.1. In my view the speakers are unbeatable at the current price level. Great processing of my order and delivery service by Edifier.
